Bae-Won Koh, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, becomes member of USGBC's LEED Faculty. His deep involvement in USGBC and LEED was recognized by the USGBC. LEED Faculty is a group of about 80 experts in LEED who will teach USGBC's LEED Workshops around the country.

joined Innovative Design as a Sustainable Design Analyst. She will be responsible for energy analysis and sustainable system research.

Bae-Won Koh, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is elected as the chair of the North Carolina Triangle Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. He was the Vice-Chair in 2009 and has served the board for 4 years.

Mike Nicklas, FAIA, served as the national AIA's representative in the development of the U.S Department of Energy's 50% Advanced Energy Design Guide for K-12 Schols

Masaki Furukawa, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, named 2012 AIA Triangle President-Elect.

Paul Meyer joined Innovative Design as an architectural intern. He received a Master's degree from Georgia Tech in 2011, focusing on green building strategies and simulation techniques. He was a team member with Georgia Tech for the 2007 Solar Decathlon.

City of Raleigh Time Warner Pavillion
Innovative Design is selected to design new roof system and PV (photovoltaics) system at the Time Warner Pavillion.

Buncombe County Enka High School
Buncombe County Board has selected Innovative Design for Enka High School renovation. The renovation scope concentrates on improving energy efficiency of the building. Innovative Design will also design the solar PV system.

Toni Turner joined us as the business manager. She worked at Precision Walls for 18 years before coming to Innovative Design.

Julia Janaro, AIA, LEED AP, is elected as the chair of Advocacy Committee of NC Triangle Chapter of USGBC. She has been involved in the chapter for 5 years. She was the Education Committee chair in 2009.
