Innovative Design has been committed to green, sustainable design since our founding in 1977. Our record shows how a small firm can create a big impact. Here are some numbers. Innovative Design has saved over 8.6 trillion BTUs, eliminated 1,687,000 tons of CO2, saved over 581 million gallons of water, and saved over 2.5 billion kWh over 4,700 projects. No matter what type of project it is, whether passive solar houses, high performance schools, churches, state and local government buildings, colleges and universities, and PV or solar thermal projects, our goal has always been setting an example of sustainability to lead our industry. Innovative Design’s leadership in sustainability will continue to grow these numbers under our new leadership, ID 2.0, led by Louis Gerics, AIA, NCARB, and Brian Baewon Koh, AIA, LEED AP, WELL AP.
